Join us for the ultimate way to enjoy the San Marcos River, whether you’re part of a small or large group. Our trip lasts about six hours, from the moment we meet at the designated location to when we drop you off. You'll get to float for approximately 3 to 3.5 hours, depending on river conditions. We provide transportation and tubes, so you can relax and enjoy your time on the water.

Float in the refreshing spring-fed waters, bask in the beautiful scenery, and soak up the sun while making new friends!

Public Tubing Trip Schedule:

  • 11:00 AM – Arrive at the river by 12:00 PM, depart at 4:00 PM, return to Austin by 5:00 PM.
  • 11:45 AM – Arrive at the river by 12:45 PM, depart at 4:45 PM, return to Austin by 5:45 PM.
  • 12:30 PM – Arrive at the river by 1:30 PM, depart at 5:30 PM, return to Austin by 6:30 PM.

What to Bring:

Keep it minimal! You really only need a swimsuit, flip flops or river shoes, and your favorite beverages (cans only—no glass or styrofoam). Please note, we do not have lockers, so avoid leaving items in the vehicle; we are not responsible for lost or stolen items. A good attitude is all you need for a great time!

Cooler Rentals:

Cooler setups are not included in the trip, but you can rent one for $28, which includes a cooler, ice, and a tube for it. Be sure to reserve ahead of time, as extras may not be available on the day of your trip.

Group Booking:

If you’re booking for a group, please ensure all members are aware of the rules and schedule.

For same-day bookings, you can reserve up to one hour before departure (subject to availability). A confirmation email will be sent after your booking.

Pickup Location:

Our bus stages at 160 E Riverside, Austin, TX 78704, next to Thom’s Market. We recommend using a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft, but if you prefer to drive, consider using SpotHero to find nearby parking.


Please note that trip times are estimates and may vary due to traffic and river conditions. Public is for 18 years old and up only. Life jackets are available for rent but subject to availability. If needed, please request one prior to departure date.
