They call it the salute to sausage and beer! New Braunfels was founded by proud German immigrants, and is rich in German culture. The only place that rivals this event is in Munich Germany itself. The festival grounds are nestled right next to the Comal river on plenty of acreage large enough to host multiple areas for music and dancing, shopping, food, and of course beer. We will depart from our location in Austin near downtown from 200 East Riverside, Austin Texas 78704.
The price includes roundtrip transportation to and from the fest in alcohol permitted vans, shuttle buses, or coach buses. All vehicles have air conditioning, and on busier days for larger groups will have restrooms. BYOB to pre game on the way down. Only thing we ask is not to get too wasted (eat some sausage if ya need to) and feel free to dress the part! You must be 18 or over to ride on our buses, and 21 and up to drink.
You will ride down and back in the same vehicle, and can leave things on the bus during the event, just don't bring anything of too much value please as we are not responsible for lost items.
Total travel time to and from the festival and Austin is about an hour each way, and we allow for a full 4 hours at the festival, so from start to finish you are looking at 6 hours!
